For
the past several years, HAHC and HMC have been working together
to streamline patient care and to provide comprehensive health
care to our patients. We continue to combine and develop programs
and services to provide a high quality of care for our patients,
the community and the region as convenient and as complete as
possible.
HAHC
and HMC have been meeting the medical needs of Hutchinson and
the surrounding communities for more than 70 years. Established
in 1928 and 1958 respectively, we offer a full range of family
care as well as more specialized health care services.
More
than 50 providers offer their services in Hutchinson with over
30 areas of specialization including comprehensive medical and
surgical services, 24-hour emergency care, BirthCare, rehabilitation
services, mental health services and much more.
Your
health and your family's health is our main concern, it is the
reason we are here, it's what we care about. Our physicians
and staff work as a team to create a scope of care that encompasses
the whole person, the entire family.
Our
mission is to provide you and your family with quality health
care you expect and deserve - right here at home, right here
at HAHC and HMC.
We
have designed this Web site to serve as a health resource for
our patients, physicians, community members, and for anyone
who visits this site. We invite you to look around and to return
often for new information and to learn more about HAHC, HMC
and the programs and services we have to offer. This Web site
is an ongoing, developing project.

Partnering for high quality health care
Every
day, millions of Americans receive high-quality health care.
They get the right care at the right time and in the right way
needed to achieve the best possible results.
Assuring
patient safety is one of the Nation's most pressing health care
challenges. Health care providers are working hard to improve
health care quality. But we need your help.
The
single most important thing you can do to ensure care and prevent
medical errors is to be an active partner in your own health
care. That means taking part in the decisions made about your
care, asking questions of your caregivers and speaking up when
you have a concern. Partnering with your physician and other
caregivers makes your hospital stay as safe as possible.
