Area Health Care Facility
HAHC
consists of the Hutchinson Community Hospital, Burns Manor Nursing
Home, and the Dassel Medical Center. The organization, with
over 600 employees, is owned by the city of Hutchinson, governed
by a local board of directors, and managed by Allina Health
System.
Hutchinson
Community Hospital is a 66-bed, full service hospital. Acute
care programs and services include same-day and inpatient surgery,
critical care and emergency services with a 24-hour staffing.
Occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy
and cardiac rehab are also available.
In-patient
and outpatient mental health services are provided by a staff
of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and chemical dependency
counselors. Community education efforts have expanded in recent
years and include diabetic education, nutrition counseling,
BirthCare prenatal classes and breast feeding classes as well
as many one time and yearly seminars for community members and
health care professionals. Diagnostic and lab services are available.

HAHC
visitor parking will be the FIRST left off Century Avenue.
HMC
is located on the East end of the hospital campus, approximately
¼ mile from Highway 15. Patient parking will be the FIFTH
left off Century Avenue. (The parking lots located between the
HAHC patient lot and HMC patient lot is for employee use.) HMC's
main entrance is located at the north end of the parking lot.
